We urgently require a Production Operative to start work at our manufacturing client based in Ellesmere Por, starting Monday 9th September 2024.

The basic working hours for this role will be 9 am to 4 pm from Monday to Friday each week.

Working as part of a small team, the role will involve emptying bagged goods into hoppers, packing the re-portioned sachets into boxes and palletising the finished product ready for dispatch.

The successful candidates will also be required to complete basic Warehouse duties while keeping the working environment clean and clear of hazards.

Applicants must be available for an extremely long-term contract with the position eventually turning into a permanent role, if suitable.

A reasonable level of physical fitness is also required, as there will be some lifting and prolonged standing.

Full training will be given including manual handling and general workplace hygiene.

This family-owned company is located close to J9 of the M53 and near to Ellesmere Port train station.

Our workers are paid promptly each week on a PAYE basis, to include holiday pay and pension contribution.

Our client, a specialist manufacturing organisation based in Prenton, Birkenhead has a requirement for an additional Van Delivery Driver.

The role will include delivering to customers throughout the UK mainland. The successful applicants can expect to drive around 10 hours each day, making 8-10 stops to deliver and complete an average of 2,000 miles per week.

The position is offered on a temporary to permanent contract with the guarantee of permanent employment. Once permanent, additional benefits include an incremental pay rise, 25 days of paid holidays + additional paid bank holidays, payment rebate, full uniform and boots, pension and death in service scheme, annual attendance bonus and a company save as you earn scheme.

The working hours are strictly days, between Monday and Friday each week, with each driver guaranteed a 40-hour minimum. Some early starts are required each week.

The hourly pay rate for the Van Driver is £11.76 per hour. However, the beauty of this job is the availability of overtime, which is also guaranteed and payable at £17.64 per hour after 40 hours and £23.52 p/h after 50 hours. Typically, each driver completes 50-60 hours per week.
