Starting on Thursday 1st August 2024, our client, a manufacturer of high quality products based in Prenton, Birkenhead has a requirement for 2 Production Operative.

This role is offered on a contract basis and on completion of the initial 12 weeks of training, permanent employment is guaranteed.

The successful candidates will work a minimum of 40 hours each week, with overtime available.

Working a 7 am to 3:30 pm shift from Monday to Friday each week. You will start on an hourly rate of £11.76 p/h.

Overtime is paid at £17.64 p/h after 40 hours, increasing to £23.52 p/h after 50 hours.

Payments are made weekly by BACs and on a PAYE basis, which includes holiday pay and pension contribution.

Further benefits on completion of 12 weeks include a back pay rebate, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, uniform and safety boots provided, death in service benefit and a 1% annual attendance bonus.

Our client is also committed to providing ongoing training by helping to develop each new Production Operative into an experience Multi-skilled Operator.

Successful candidates must have a reasonable level of physical fitness and their own safety footwear.

We urgently require one further Production Operative to start work at our manufacturing client based in Ellesmere Port.

The basic working hours for this role will be 9 am to 4 pm from Monday to Friday each week.

Working as part of a small team, the role will involve emptying bagged goods into hoppers, packing the re-portioned sachets into boxes and palletising the finished product ready for dispatch.

The successful candidates will also be required to complete basic Warehouse duties while keeping the working environment clean and clear of hazards at all times.

Applicants must be available for an extremely long-term contract with the position eventually turning into a permanent role.

A reasonable level of physical fitness is also required, as there will be some lifting and prolonged standing.

Full training will be given including manual handling and general workplace hygiene.

This family-owned company is located close to J9 of the M53 and near to Ellesmere Port train station.

Our workers are paid promptly each week on a PAYE basis, to include holiday pay and pension contribution.
