We require a Production Operative to start work as soon as possible at our manufacturing client based in Ellesmere Port.

The working hours for this role will be 8 am to 5 pm from Monday to Thursday and 9 am to 1 pm each Friday.

The rate of pay for this job is an excellent £12.90 per hour. Traditionally, this client tends to employ suitable workers for extremely long periods, which often lead to permanent contracts.

Working as part of a small team, the role will involve emptying bagged ingredients into hoppers and packing and palletising the finished product ready for dispatch.

Successful candidates will also be required to perform basic hygiene duties to maintain a clean working environment.

Applicants must be available long-term with the strong possibility of the position eventually turning into a permanent contract.

A reasonable level of physical fitness is required, as there is some heavy lifting and prolonged standing involved.

Full training will be provided, including manual handling and general workplace hygiene.

Our client, a growing manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Delivery Driver to join its team in Birkenhead on a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.

This is a role for a professional driver delivering to destinations throughout the UK mainland. The successful candidates can expect to drive around 10 hours each day, make 8-12 drops and complete an average of 2000 miles each week.

The positions are offered on a 12-week temporary to permanent contract with the guarantee of permanent employment.

The working hours are strictly days, between Monday and Friday each week with each driver guaranteed a 40-hour minimum. The runs tend to average a 10-hour day and as the runs are nationwide the number of drops is minimal.

Each Driver is paid a basic rate of £12.55 per hour. However, the beauty of this job is the availability of overtime which is also guaranteed and payable at £18.82 per hour after 40 hours and £25.10 per hour after 50 hours.

Once permanent additional benefits include an incremental pay rise, 25 days of paid holidays + additional paid bank holidays, payment rebate, full uniform and boots provided, pension and death in service scheme, annual attendance bonus and company save as you earn scheme.
